From strop, the leather strip used to hone a blade. Eval simulation is that strop: synthetic customers put a fine edge on a voice agent before it goes live. Stropel is named for honing, again.

Rubrics that survive a noisy call

Kitchen noise at 58 dB will wreck a judge that only reads a clean transcript. Score audio and text together. Freeze the suite. Re-run after the prompt diff.

Prove the fix, then ship

A hold on identity-then-refund means the merge waits. CI on Edge and Mill is the steel clamp. The floor hears the blade after the leather says pass.

Privacy

Call recordings and scores are customer data. Stropel processes them to run simulation, evaluation, and observation that you request. Recordings stay with the customer account. Public model training never uses your calls.

Deletion on request, legal holds excepted. Retention defaults: 7 days on Hone (scores only), 30 days on Edge, 90 days on Mill, or the pin you set. Contact [email protected] for a deletion ticket.

The contact form stores name, work email, company, plan interest, and message so the desk can reply. You may ask us to delete that row.

Terms

Use of Stropel is a subscription to simulated minutes and scored minutes on Hone, Edge, or Mill. You keep rights in your agents, prompts, recordings, and rubrics. Stropel keeps rights in the platform, personas we ship, and the judges.

You are responsible for lawful collection of production audio you ingest. Healthcare and financial floors that need a BAA use Mill when eligible. CI gates on Edge and Mill fail closed when a required metric is below your floor.
